Bonjour!

My wife Susan, our demanding cat, Mitzy and I had nearly a year living in France between Oct 2014 and Sept 2015.

We liked it so much we bought a house in the Haute Vienne and moved over from Scotland in October 2018.

This chronicles both our previous visit – on one page – and our life since then.  It is football heavy and not updated as often as it should be.  More due to lots of things going on setting up the house and my working as an English tutor then, for reasons of lethargy or the need to mow the lawn!

It is also a means for me to link the occasional bits I have published.  To date, these are fairly football heavy too including over 80 Raith Rovers Football Club match reports for their official website and various French football pieces some featured on the previously available French Football Weekly, an English speaking podcast and website. 

I hope to share some writing on a wider variety of topics in the future.
